Rental and Instruction Rates
Airplane Rental: $110 per hour
Instruction: $40 per hour
Please note that instruction is billed for both ground and flight time.

There are additional costs associated with learning to fly. These are not under our control, so the values below are estimates only:
Training Materials: $130 to $400 depending upon the training system chosen.
Medical Exam: $70 to $100
Written Exam Fee: about $100
Examiner's Checkride Fee: $300 to $400
Headset Purchase (optional, but recommended): $120 to $500

Special 1: The Experience Flight -- $75
An experience flight consists of a thirty minute flight with YOU at the controls of the airplane. An experienced instructor will taxi the plane out and take off. Then you will fly the plane until it is time to return to the airport for landing.
Special 2: The First Flight Lesson -- $160
You can actually have a full first flight lesson for far less than the usual cost. The lesson consists of learning how to conduct a preflight inspection of the plane. YOU will then start the engine, taxi the plane to the runway, perform the takeoff (with the instructor's assistance if needed), fly the plane and learn about airspeed and altitude control, and fly the traffic pattern upon return to the airport. The lesson will consist of at least two hours of instruction and one hour of flight.
At our usual rates, the cost of this lesson would be $190.
Special 3: Just an Airplane Ride
If you would like to experience riding in a small airplane, we offer airplane rides at a rate of $150 per hour.
